Every year about 5000 students seek education and hostel facilities from 51 education societies in Gadag, Dharwad, Koppal, Karawar and Vijyapura Districts. Because of concern of Shri Jagadguru towards the poor students could able to pursue education and most of them have been servicing in different departments by conducting mass wedding ShriJagadguru has helped to reduce the economic burden of the 25 thousand poor families. Apart from this health camps, free eye check up camps, blood donation camps have been organised to meet the need of the poor people. The resources have been increased which leads many opportunities in different fields. Employment scopes have increased. We could easily glance development in rural areas. Development has become the motto of the Shri Math. There is development in agricultural activities. Because of Shri Jagadguru’s concern towards environment we can see the prosperous Mundargi. Rain harvesting has been implemented from the past 20 years. As a result Shri Math has been using rain water. “Save Kappatgudda” movement is started to preserve Kappatagudda forest region in this District. Because of his protest and active involvement in this historical movement illegal mining has been stopped and it helped to enrich the forest. Today Kappatagudda is announced as preserved forest region. Ultimately this led to betterment in the surrounding, as the result Gadag District is ranked 2nd in the state for pure oxygen.
